Welcome to my first ever blog of any kind. I think this will make things easier, and the beauty of a blog is that you visit only if you're interested, rather than me filling up your inbox with mass emails you may slowly grow to blame all your problems on.
Perhaps it's jinxing me to say it, but I really hope I don't lose my new digital camera or my iPod. On my last major trip (Spain with my parents in 2001) I somehow managed to lose both my camera and my mom's camera. I wouldn't bring my iPod but I need it to back up my photos as I go...in case I lose my camera. I suppose I'll be moderately happy to return with at least one of these two costly electronic devices. I think I have a good shot at making that happen.
That's enough out of me for today. I'm off to go pack everything last minute and carelessly lay my plane tickets somewhere that will assure me a frantic search and subsequent late arrival to the airport tomorrow morning.
I'm nervous, scared, excited, and looking forward to some awesome Pad Thai.
