Note

I'd like to note that I've decided to throw away my Vietnamese flag shirt. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I don't really want to wear a shirt that supports a Communist government. This is the same government that forced thousands of South Vietnamese into forced labor camps after the war and has museums with pictures of smiling American POWs, showing how kind they were to our soldiers despite our "malicious attacks." Right.

Yes, they've opened their doors to the international community and the economy seems to be doing well, but the underlying foundation of it all still seems shady. Maybe I'm overthinking this. The shirt is too small anyways, so even if I wanted to wear it, I couldn't.

The girlfriend says you can stay if you'd like. The Kevin is the one sending you home.

That must be insightful girlfriend writing! Yes...come...home...Kevin...

Of course, I am not sure LA is safer than SE Asia, probably not! But, you are closer!

Hey Kev,
Even though you aren't here in town we can still see you! Sort of. David Kelsey spotted you in an Oscar Meyers ad the other day, and Mia swears she saw you in a Subway ad. I didn't know you did either one of those. Awesome! Guess you'll be home soon, have a safe trip back and all...
